Pink Floyd have finally announced the release date for the long-delayed reissue of their classic 1977 LP Animals . Animals 2018 Remix will arrive starting Sept. 16, with the Orwellian concept album also receiving its first-ever 5.1 Stereo Sound release. While the reissue doesn’t feature any bonus tracks, it does include a polished-up mix overseen by engineer James Guthrie of the original five-song album on CD, vinyl, Blu-ray, and SACD. Kanye West is being sued for the unauthorized use of a sample on his latest album, Donda 2 , marking yet another copyright infringement claim filed against the polarizing rapper. As first reported by Billboard , a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court in New York claims West’s song “Flowers” unlawfully samples the 1986 club hit “Move Your Body” (a.k.a. “The House Music Anthem”). Heyday Television President Tom Winchester has launched a production company backed by Power of the Dog producer See-Saw Films and talent agency Hamilton Hodell. See-Saw, which also produced Top of the Lake and Slow Horses , has backed Pure Fiction Television, which will produce commercial content for the British and global markets, seeking to capitalize on the absence of overall deals by offering strategic partnerships to top talent. See-Saw will offer business affairs and production support to Winchester’s nascent outfit and COO Simon Gillis will sit on Pure Fiction’s board. A member of Nelson’s band since 1966, English was renowned for his tough, outlaw style and served as the group’s de facto bodyguard in addition to his drumming duties. He adopted a persona called “The Devil,” matching the name with an evil-looking goatee and wearing a cape. He earned a reputation for fist fights as well as getting his mates out of dangerous situations on the road.
