Daniel Vogelbach 's mom ain't gonna be too happy about this ... right after a groundout Wednesday, the Mets DH let an F-bomb fly -- and it was so loud, hot mics actually picked it up on the game's broadcast!! The whole scene was actually pretty funny -- well, for everyone except Vogelbach -- because after the 30-year-old got thrown out at first base in the sixth inning of NY's spring training game against Houston despite a sharply hit ball, he screamed, "I can't buy a f***ing hit!" ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Star Jay Ellis To Host Smithsonian Channel’s ‘How Did They Build That?’

EXCLUSIVE : Smithsonian Channel has landed itself a top gun. Jay Ellis , who plays Lieutenant Reuben Fitch in the Tom Cruise hit Top Gun: Maverick , has signed on to host the second season of the Paramount Global-owned network’s unscripted series How Did They Build That? The ten-part series explores some of the most incredible feats of engineering from around the world. It will be fronted by Ellis, who also starred in HBO’s Insecure . The move marks a step up for the docuseries, which did not have a host in its first season. Peter Chernin’s North Road Backs “The Next ‘Euphoria’” In Debut International Co-Pro Deal

Peter Chenin’s North Road Company has struck its first international co-production deal – backing Euphoria creator Ron Leshem ’s latest drama Bad Bo y, which Leshem described as “the next Euphoria.” North Road will join with Israeli producer Sipur to co-finance the crime drama alongside original Euphoria backers Hot and Tedy Productions. Leshem is creating with Bosch director Hagar Ben-Asher. Bad Boy tells the story of Dean, who is imprisoned in a cruel juvenile detention facility. While in jail, Dean bonds with Zoro, a grim and mysterious teenage prisoner serving time for murder. He also learns to harness his unique intelligence and creativity and, 20 years later, these traits define Dean as a star comedian, while his time in jail is a secret threatening to resurface and tear his life apart. Erik Lomis Dies: Veteran MGM Distribution Chief Was 64

Extremely devastating news: MGM and United Artists Releasing distribution boss Erik Lomis died suddenly Wednesday at his home in Santa Monica, we have learned from sources. No details were provided in regards to his death. He was 64. Lomis was a towering figure behind many filmmakers’ hits including those from Quentin Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, Adam McKay, Sylvester Stallone, Ryan Coogler, David O. Russell, Lee Daniels and Tom Hooper to name a few, and most recently Michael B. Jordan with Creed III . In the wake of Amazon’s purchase of MGM, Lomis, who made the jump, becoming an entrusted consigliere to Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke as the streamer looks to capitalize on more big-screen hits.
