Rating: 4.5 /5 Director Vetimaaran continues to deliver successful films. His last film Asuran with Dhanush was a blockbuster hit. Now his next film Viduthalai Part 1 with Soori and Vijay Sethupathi is released worldwide today. This film was said to be based on a true incident that happened between the common people who live in the terrains and the police. But Vetrimaaran clearly says that it is a pure fiction and not even a single character or incident is based on true events. The first 5 minutes single shot sequence will give us goosebumps. It creates a huge wow factor in terms of co-ordination between every department such as actors, cinematography, art direction, costumes, sound design and make up. Diaglogues are too good and it helps to convey the proper essense of the film in a Communist ideology.
