Female Shooter Kills 3 Children & 3 Adults At Nashville Covenant Elementary School
Nashville police confirmed this morning that three children and three adults had been killed in a shooting at The Covenant School, a private Christian school in Nashville. They also said the shooter, a 28-year-old female, was “engaged” by police and killed. Ninety-eight percent of mass shooters are male, according to the Violence Project , which tracks such violence. Afroman Sued By Law Enforcement Officers Over Use Of Raid Footage
Rapper Afroman faces a lawsuit from Ohio law enforcement officers alleging that he invaded their privacy by using images of them raiding his house. Afroman (real name Joseph Foreman) had his home raided in August 2022 by the Adam’s County Sheiff’s Office. They were looking for drugs and alleged kidnapping victims. No charges were filed based on the raid. However, security cameras and footage from Foreman’s wife’s mobile phone were captured. Those images were used in subsequent videos mocking the situation. “I asked myself, as a powerless Black man in America, what can I do to the cops that kicked my door in, tried to kill me in front of my kids, stole my money and disconnected my cameras?” Foreman said in an NPR interview. “And the only thing I could come up with was make a funny rap song about them and make some money, use the money to pay for the damages they did and move on.” Four deputies, two sergeants and a detective with the Sheriff’s Office are part of the … [Read more...] about Afroman Sued By Law Enforcement Officers Over Use Of Raid Footage

But, the cop refused and asked French if he had been drinking because he was slurring his words. French changed the subject and made a second attempt to get the camera switched off. But, the officer was in a no-nonsense mood. He sternly said, "I'm not turning my camera off. You got to be kidding me." Things only got worse for French, who explained that he had consumed 3 to 4 beers at a poker game … [Read more...] about Oklahoma Police Captain Asked Officer to Turn Off Body Cam After DUI Bust

Third in a series on broadcast network series renewals. It’s been more than a month since the most recent CBS scripted renewals, of NCIS, NCIS: Hawai’i and CSI: Vegas . The three dramas that were left out at the time — Blue Bloods , S.W.A.T . and East New York — remain in limbo, joined on the CBS bubble list by new midseason drama True Lies , which debuted March 1.
