Netflix has ordered Man on Fire , a drama series adaptation based on A.J. Quinnell’s Man on Fire and The Perfect Kill , the first two books in Quinnell’s five-book series. The project hails from writer/executive producer Kyle Killen ( Fear Street: Part One – 1994 , Halo ), New Regency Productions, producer of Tony Scott’s classic 2004 film starring Denzel Washington, and Chernin Entertainment. FOX 11 UPDATE 1:46 PM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell us the suspect has died from his injuries. A dramatic and possibly deadly end to a wild police chase just unfolded outside Los Angeles, as a suspect driving a stolen police cruiser jumped from the vehicle as it was still moving. The whole thing was broadcast live on FOX 11 as officers from the California Highway Patrol raced at high speeds to keep up with the suspect. The man weaved in between lanes of traffic on CA 138 toward Lancaster, and at times could be seen rummaging through the inside of the cop car. Paul and González will replace Tessa Thompson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt who were previously announced last summer. Afroman Sued By Law Enforcement Officers Over Use Of Raid Footage
Rapper Afroman faces a lawsuit from Ohio law enforcement officers alleging that he invaded their privacy by using images of them raiding his house. Afroman (real name Joseph Foreman) had his home raided in August 2022 by the Adam’s County Sheiff’s Office. They were looking for drugs and alleged kidnapping victims. No charges were filed based on the raid. However, security cameras and footage from Foreman’s wife’s mobile phone were captured.
