Kim Kardashian hasn't spoken a word to Kris Humphries since she filed for divorce, despite reports to the contrary -- this according to sources close to the couple. Sources close to KK tell TMZ ... the two have been giving each other nothing but the silent treatment since Kim filed divorce papers on Monday ... despite multiple reports they've been communicating regularly. According to sources, the couple made a mutual decision not to communicate -- at least for the time being. We're told any immediate communication will be handled through their reps. BBC News’ journalists failure to understand “basic economics” is bringing a “high risk to impartiality,” according to a BBC-commissioned report. The finding was contained in the first BBC impartiality review, of which several more will be published over the coming months. Since taking on the role in September 2020, BBC Director General Tim Davie has prioritized overcoming issues with impartiality at a time when the corporation is under the government spotlight. Today’s Review of the impartiality of BBC coverage of taxation, public spending, government borrowing and debt judged BBC News innocent of displaying deliberate political bias but highlighted several pitfalls. Responding, the BBC Board said Davie and his team will address the issues presented in the review with a proposed action plan. In another organizing win for the WGA East , The Huffington Post has agreed to recognize the union as the collective bargaining representative of its editorial staff. Over the last year the guild has also organized the digital writing staffs at Vice Media, Gawker Media, Salon and The Guardian US. “I am delighted to let you know that we have reached an agreement with the Writers Guild of America, East to proceed to voluntary recognition by counting signed union cards,” said Arianna Huffington in an email to her staff. “Assuming a majority, we will recognize the union. Those joining the WGA West in blasting the WBD on Monday include Claudia Forestieri, creator and executive producer of Gordita Chronicles ; Lisa Hanawalt, creator and executive producer of Tuca & Bertie ; and Moisés Zamora, creator and executive producer of Whistleblower , a project in development at HBO Max.
