EXCLUSIVE: Fifth Season ’s COO Tim Robinson has left the Severance producer after four years. Robinson, a former Shine Group and Avalon boss, joined Fifth Season in 2018. The Brit has been working out of its LA base but exited recently. Robinson is well respected and much liked at Fifth Season, which was formerly known as Endeavor Content. He played a key role in the company’s sale to South Korean powerhouse CJ ENM last year and the subsequent rebrand to its new identity. CJ ENM bought 80% of Fifth Season for $785M, with Endeavor retaining the other 20%. The departure is understood to be amicable and Robinson is believed to be exploring new opportunities. Endeavor Content has appointed former Avalon COO Tim Robinson to the same role. In the newly created position, Robinson will oversee operations including business affairs, finance, HR and corporate development and will also be tasked with helping to drive growth in the U.S. and international markets. Brit Robinson, who will be based in Los Angeles, was most recently COO of talent management and production company Avalon ( Last Week Tonight With John Oliver ) and before that, was interim COO at Vertical Networks, Elisabeth Murdoch’s digital content outfit. Prior to that he held various positions within Murdoch’s Shine Group, including COO of Shine Australia in Sydney, Deputy CEO of Metronome Group in Stockholm, and ultimately global COO from 2013 before the firm merged with Endemol in 2015. Chris Evans is pumping his Avengers co-star Jeremy Renner as he continues his recovery from the life-threatening snowplow accident. The Hawkeye star shared a health update with his fans on social media showing him during a rehabilitation session where he said, “I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness. Much love and appreciation to you all. These 30 plus broken bones will mend , grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens.” Shortly after Renner’s post, Evans joked with him adding on Twitter, “That’s one tough mf’er. Eight-time Grammy winner Chris Stapleton will sing the national anthem at this year’s Super Bowl LVII, the NFL announced today as the organization released the pregame entertainment line-up. Twelve-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist, songwriter and producer Babyface , a 12-time Grammy winner, will sing “America the Beautiful,” and Abbot Elementary star Sheryl Lee Ralph will perform the song “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Oscar-winning CODA actor Troy Kotsur will perform the national anthem in American Sign Language, with Colin Denny, a member of the Navajo Nation in Arizona, signing “America the Beautiful” and Justin Miles will signing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Also as part of the pregame show, the U.S. Navy will conduct a flyover of Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium during the national anthem to commemorate 50 years of women flying in the service. With his first project after leaving Disney Animation in 2018, director Chris Williams has already received an Oscar nomination. “When I arrived at Netflix Animation, it was certainly a daunting realization that I was a crew of one,” he laughs. He attributes this nomination to his team of animators. “One director does not make a movie, I needed to work with an incredibly talented team to make a movie as ambitious as this, and I was so lucky that so many amazing artists were willing to join me on this journey… I’m just really proud of the crew. "I can't believe I had a stroke but God not done with me yet." Baker also shared video from a Hartford, CT hospital room ... showing him sitting up and talking to a nurse as he appears to be hooked up to IVs.
