It got a bit of a mixed reaction from the crowd, which Ariel also played up ... saying the social worker looked at her like they all were. Then, she says she got "approved." Sylvester Stallone Becomes Rocky Balboa One More Time
Sylvester Stallone: They're very similar. The issues at work are very personal issues. I've been lucky enough to take what's been bothering me, questions I've asked about life in general, and have the body of Rocky to put it into. If I was asking these questions they wouldn't have the same impact. He's a tough guy but he's childlike. So when he asks questions, it comes to you kind of at a comical angle. The way he speaks, his vernacular, and tense. All the issues, the films that have worked, it's always about something I'm going through. For the steadiness of its images, for its quietude, Notturno is keen on showing us a world that endures beyond its scars. And its just as keen on depicting the scars that cannot be shaken. … [Read more...] about ‘Notturno’ Is Not Journalism, But Gianfranco Rosi’s Movie Investigates the Heart of the Middle East

Suicide Squad Cast Surprise Margot Robbie with Harley Quinn Birthday Cake
This is just the latest weird gift to arrive on set. Early on in the production process, Jared Leto, who has gone full-blown method as The Joker, never going out of character, sent Margot Robbie a live rat, which was then passed around set as the official mascot of the Suicide Squad cast. After living with various members of Task Force X, the black rat, named Venustiano, presumably after Mexican Revolution leader José Venustiano Carranza Garza, finally found a home with director Guillermo del Toro. Jared Leto also sent co-star Will Smith, playing Deadshot, a couple of bullets and a dead hog. It is not known what became of the hog. … [Read more...] about Suicide Squad Cast Surprise Margot Robbie with Harley Quinn Birthday Cake
