It's a wrap for Anthony Daniels on Star Wars 9. The iconic C-3PO actor has the rare distinction of being in every single installment in the Star Wars franchise since the beginning. The gold droid has been treated like garbage and torn apart, treated like a god, and taken the backseat in more recent times. While we don't know a whole lot about what is going to happen in Star Wars 9, Daniels promises that it will be more than worth the wait. It looks as if J.J. How ‘Women of the Galaxy’ Puts Spotlight on ‘Star Wars’ Favorites
This week saw the release of Star Wars: Women of the Galaxy, a hardcover celebration of the female characters of the massively successful space opera franchise. Written by Amy Radcliffe, the book offers profiles of 75 characters from all corners of the galaxy — movies, books, comics and television shows — with each entry accompanied by artwork from 18 female and non-binary artists, including Elsa Charretier, Little Corvus, Annie Wu and Jen Bartel. The Hollywood Reporter talked to Radcliffe about the project. How did Women of the Galaxy get started? I know that Lucasfilm has been increasing its promotion of woman-centric Star Wars projects, most … [Read more...] about How ‘Women of the Galaxy’ Puts Spotlight on ‘Star Wars’ Favorites

Sadly, however, it was not to be, as he explained the following via Twitter: I've always loved the irony of America celebrating #LaborDay by NOT working.#EnjoyYourBarbequesBarbecuties pic.twitter.com/GJ8yPAbF8p — Mark Hamill (@HamillHimself) September 2, 2018 Where oh where might Mark Hamill be right now? Well, Episode IX‘s currently shooting in the UK on location and at Pinewood Studios, so he’s probably in a fancy London hotel. Unfortunately for him, however, the British Labor Day (or May … [Read more...] about Mark Hamill Teases That He’s Back To Work On Star Wars: Episode IX
