EXCLUSIVE: Shooting on Fantastic Friends season two is set to wrap, with more Harry Potter and Game of Thrones alumni featuring. The show from filmmaker Daniel Sharp follows James and Oliver Phelps, aka the Weasley twins from Harry Potter , as they go on adrenaline-fuelled adventures with magical themes, accompanied by famous faces. We’ve got a first look at the season for you here. Season one featured several Harry Potter stars. Famous faces from the franchise popping up the travelog series this time include Mark Williams, who played the twins’ father in the films, Matt Lewis,Alfie Enoch, Nat Tena and Stanislav Yanevski. In The Royals: A History of Scandals , historian Suzannah Lipscomb will speak to experts to reveal some famous royal scandals, and many lesser-known ones. Set in historical houses and palaces, the historians will share the role the press, parliament and public have played in generating outrage and spreading rumors across the centuries. The show comes as interest in royal scandals across the nation is at an all time high. Haydn Gwynne, who plays Queen Consort Camilla in The Windsors , has said the royal comedy is planning to shoot a special episode in time for King Charles’s Coronation later this year. “They have commissioned another series, which we will be shooting later this year. But also, we’re going to be very soon doing a Coronation special,” Gwynne told the BBC’s Radio 4 Saturday. Gwynne continued to say that she initially thought the show wouldn’t return after George Jeffrie, who co-wrote the series with Bert Tyler-Moore, died of a heart attack in 2020. “I thought that would be the end of it, so it’s amazing that Bert has managed to pick up the baton, and we’re doing it again.” The Windsors first aired on British broadcaster Channel 4 in 2016. Details of King Charles III ’s coronation in May were revealed Saturday by Buckingham Palace . Three days of celebrations are planned, including a concert featuring “global music icons and contemporary stars,” none of whom were named. The concert will take place on Sunday, May 7 at Windsor Castle ’s East Lawn on the day after the coronation, the latter a solemn religious affair. The music show will be part of celebrations across the UK, part of the so-called “Coronation Big Lunch.” The concert attendees will be drawn from an audience composed of volunteers from the King and Queen Consort’s charity affiliations and those public members selected through a national ballot held by the BBC.
