Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan's much anticipated film Laal Singh Chaddha hit the theatrical screens on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan this year. Unfortunately, the film upon its release failed to meet the expectations of the audience and performed poorly at the box office despite good reviews from the critics. The Aamir Khan-starrer managed to rake in around Rs 49 Crore in its first week of release. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Mona Singh who essayed the role of Aamir's mother in the film opened up about the film's lackluster performance at the box office. The much awaited update on upcoming Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde starrer has arrived. The film with the working title SSMB 28 is being directed by Trivikram, and Thaman will be composing the music. The project is being produced by Naga Vamsi, under the banner Haarika and Hassine Creations. This is the third time the superstar has joined hands with Trivikram Srinivas, following Athadu and Khaleja . The combo is expected to recreate their magic yet another time. This is the second outing for the Mahesh and Pooja combination, following Maharshi . The project is piling up on expectations and hype already. Anurag Kashyap in his recent interaction with a leading portal, opened up on his equation with filmmaker-producer Karan Johar. Speaking about Karan, the Gangs Of Wasseypur director said that he knew his father and said that the filmmaker was a late discovery because he comes from the privileged. Kashyap admitted that he judged Karan a lot. Pinkvilla quoted Anurag as saying, "Karan Johar was a late discovery becomes he comes from privileged and I knew his father. I've judged him a lot.
