Travis Scott is slated to perform his first individual ticketed concert since last November’s deadly Astroworld tragedy. Scott will be playing at London’s 02 Arena on August 6th. While Scott has already performed publicly since the disaster — he played a late-night set in Miami in May and played private events for a pre-Oscars party and a Coachella afterparty — the show marks the first of his own ticketed concerts. Scott’s been trickling back into live shows this year on the festival circuit with headlining dates at Primavera Sound in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Santiago, Chile and São Paulo, Brazil coming up this fall. Earlier this month, Scott was announced as a headliner for Day n’ Vegas, his first U.S. festival since Astroworld. Scott also performed at the Billboard Music Awards in May. Ken Williams Dies: “Everybody Plays The Fool” Songwriter Was 83
Kenneth “Ken” Williams, who wrote or co-wrote more than 500 songs including the classic 1972 hit “ Everybody Plays the Fool ” recorded by The Main Ingredient with lead vocals by Cuba Gooding Sr., died June 17 following a long non-Covid illness at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY. He was 83. His death was announced by his wife, the Broadway actress and singer Mary Seymour Williams. Depeche Mode Discloses Andy Fletcher Cause Of Death – Update
UPDATE, with cause of death Andy “Fletch” Fletcher, keyboard player and founding member of the British band Depeche Mode , died after suffering an aortic dissection while at home on May 26, the band said in a statement on Instagram today. The cause of death was disclosed by the band at the request of Fletcher’s family, according to the post. “So, even though it was far, far too soon, he passed naturally and without prolonged suffering,” the band said.
