M88 will create and develop opportunities for McClain in the entertainment and strategic partnership spaces. EXCLUSIVE : Eiza González ( Baby Driver ) and Aaron Paul ( Breaking Bad ) are attached to star in sci-fi thriller Ash , the sophomore feature from producer, rapper and filmmaker Flying Lotus ( Kuso ). Paul and González will replace Tessa Thompson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt who were previously announced last summer. Gonzalez will play a woman who wakes up on a distant planet and finds the crew of her space station viciously killed. She must decide whether she can trust the man (Paul) sent to rescue her. Universal Television is developing a series adaptation of Diane Marie Brown’s debut novel Black Candle Women with Jenna Bush Hager , who has a first-look deal with Universal Studio Group, under her production banner Thousand Voices. Hager is teaming with Bel-Air showrunner Carla Banks Waddles and Good Girls creator Jenna Bans , both of whom have overall deals with UTV, for the project. Adult Swim has handed an early Season 2 renewal to animated comedy series Royal Crackers . The move comes ahead of the series premiere on Sunday, April 2.
