Danny Elfman explores the horror — and the comedy — of the pandemic lockdown in his new video for “Love in the Time of Covid.” Directed by German filmmaker and photographer Sven Gutjahr and Elfman’s creative director Berit Gilma, the video stars a demon in isolation looking for love on Tinder and elsewhere while social distancing. Filmed in Berlin, the video’s main character is played by Scottish performer Shrek 666, a queer artist who wears extensive makeup and prosthetics as part of their performances. Elfman appears in a few surprise cameos in the video. “There’s certainly nothing light-hearted or funny about Covid, but I can still poke a little fun at the crazy way social isolation has changed our lives in every way shape, and form, and that’s what ‘Love in the Time of Covid’ is about,” Elfman says. “An expression of the borderline madness that so many of us have been experiencing. Greta Van Fleet have released a music video for “Heat Above,” the third single from their upcoming sophomore album The Battle at Garden’s Gate . “‘Heat Above’ is theatrical, eloquent, and exaggerated,” the band said in a statement. “This is a dream in the clouds, a moment of peace in the storm. Thematically, we are dead center in the cult of Heaven, surreal, strange, alive, and free.” The video reflects that heavenly theme, showing the members of Greta Van Fleet decked out in all-white outfits and crystals while performing in a surreal, purgatorial space. “Can you hear that dreadful sound?” lead singer Josh Kiszka belts out. “Fire still burning on the ground!” Greta Van Fleet will release The Battle at Garden’s Gate on April 16th via Lava and Republic Records, following their 2018 debut Anthem of the Peaceful Army . EXCLUSIVE: Music video startup Loop Media will have six of its channels streaming on the Roku Channel . Loop Hottest,  Loop Party, Loop Hip Hop, Loop 80’s, Loop 90’s and Loop Country will start streaming this week on the Roku Channel. The stand-alone Loop app is also available via Roku. Roku revealed in January that the Roku Channel, which mostly emphasizes free, ad-supported programming, ended 2020 with reach to households with an estimated 61.8 million people , double its 2019 level. The distribution deal for Loop follows one in January with Amazon Fire TV for the Loop app, which offers 19 channels of music video plus movie trailers, sports highlights and content from Jukin Media, Air Vuz and other suppliers. Adam Sandler and Christopher McDonald would be on board for a Happy Gilmore sequel, and someone in Hollywood needs to make this happen ASAP. In honor of the classic comedy's recent 25th anniversary, Sandler channeled Happy by showing off his golf skills with a video posted to Twitter. In character as Happy's nemesis Shooter McGavin, McDonald posted a video of his own in response to Sandler, putting a ball into a cup while taunting Happy Gilmore. There's been no indication that a Happy Gilmore sequel would ever happen, but fans have been pleading with Sandler to revisit the iconic character in a follow-up movie. One idea that's been pitched would be to have Happy and Shooter both return to compete against each other once again as part of a senior golf tour. Speaking about the possibility on The Dan Patrick Show , Adam Sandler teased that he'd be down to return, although the idea hasn't been seriously discussed. WASHINGTON — On day one of the second impeachment trial of Donald Trump, House Democrats on Tuesday afternoon laid out their case for why the Senate should proceed with an impeachment trial against a former president, citing the Constitution, the Federalist Papers, and the writings of legal scholars of all ideologies.
