Sebastian Croft , one of the actors of Heartstopper , is reacting to backlash over recent news he was cast in the Hogwarts Legacy video game. The LGBTQ+ Netflix series has been embraced by the community as it gives representation to the group. Croft plays the role of Ben in the teen drama and when he was announced to be voicing a playable character on the Harry Potter -inspired game, some fans criticized the move. All of the backlash Croft has received stems from author J.K. Rowling expressing opinions that have been deemed transphobic. Fans of the series can’t fathom how Croft could be in a project with Rowling and he responded with a tweet addressing the criticism. “I was cast in this project over 3 years ago, back when all Harry Potter was to me, was the magical world I grew up with,” he explained on Twitter. “This was long before I was aware of JK Rowling’s views. Rye Lane , in Premieres, is a goofy love story set in south London; Girl , in World Dramatic, is a tender parent-child drama set in Glasgow; and Scrapper , also in World Dramatic, is a curious mixture of the two. Haydn Gwynne, who plays Queen Consort Camilla in The Windsors , has said the royal comedy is planning to shoot a special episode in time for King Charles’s Coronation later this year. “They have commissioned another series, which we will be shooting later this year. But also, we’re going to be very soon doing a Coronation special,” Gwynne told the BBC’s Radio 4 Saturday. Gwynne continued to say that she initially thought the show wouldn’t return after George Jeffrie, who co-wrote the series with Bert Tyler-Moore, died of a heart attack in 2020. “I thought that would be the end of it, so it’s amazing that Bert has managed to pick up the baton, and we’re doing it again.” The Windsors first aired on British broadcaster Channel 4 in 2016. The show’s third season aired in 2020. As the title suggests, the comedy tells the story of the British royal family , but the Monarchy is re-imagined through the lens of a soap opera. Jennifer Heller , owner of 8-year-old malamute Hunter, shared the loss of her pup on Facebook ... saying her husband Chris put reflective collars and harnesses on their dogs and took them to a "very commonly used walking path by our house" in Berks County, PA. Jennifer Heller While there, she says Chris unleashed Hunter but kept him close -- eventually coming across a group of hunters.
