"Twilight" star Nikki Reed has filed for divorce from former "American Idol" contestant Paul McDonald ... TMZ has learned. In the divorce docs, obtained by TMZ, Reed cites irreconcilable differences. She's also asking the court to deny McDonald spousal support. It was the first marriage for both. The couple had no kids together. Reed and McDonald announced they were splitting back in March ... and revealed they'd already been living apart for 6 months. Interestingly, even though several reports had the couple getting married in October 2011 -- in the docs their marriage date is July 14, 2011. Getty The McDonald's All-American game rosters have been released ... and none other than LeBron James ' son, Bronny, is one of the 24 players who will participate in the marquee event. The East and West squads were announced just minutes ago ... with huge names like Bronny, Kentucky recruits Justin Edwards, D.J. Wagner (son of ex-NBAer Dajuan Wagner), Aaron Bradshaw and Reed Shepard, USC commit Isaiah Collier and future Texas Longhorn Ron Holland getting the nod. Of course, the game is one of the biggest events for high school hoops ... with a ton of future NBA superstars suiting up for the matchup each year. ABC Maya Moore is hangin' up her jersey ... the 4-time WNBA champ and UConn legend announced Monday she's retiring from the game of basketball. The former Minnesota Lynx guard broke the news on "Good Morning America," saying she's officially leaving basketball after a 7-year WNBA career. "I think it is time to put a close on the pro basketball life,' the 33-year-old told 'GMA' host Robin Roberts . "I walked away four seasons ago but I wanted to officially retire." FYI, Maya last played in the WNBA in 2018. Los Angeles On-Location Filming Falls In 2022; TV Pilots Plummet By 71.9% As Film & TV Production Drops, FilmLA Says
On-location filming in Los Angeles fell by 2.4% in 2022 compared to the prior year, with feature film and television shoot days down 9.6%, TV pilots plummeting 71.9% and commercial shoot days falling 22.6%, according to the latest report from FilmLA , the city and county film permit office. Last year had been shaping up to be a good one for local filming, but production fell off sharply in the third quarter and again in the fourth – down 19.5% compared to Q4 2021. Even so, on-location shoot-days continue to hold steady at not-so-great pre-pandemic levels. “The return of pre-pandemic filming levels places us roughly where we were in 2019, which was itself a year of significant production decline ,” said FilmLA president Paul Audley. “Can we hold here, or will the pre-Covid downtrend resume? Woman Punched By Cop After Incident Over Extra Cheese On Big Mac, Video Shows
Mario Robinson Police are investigating a pretty horrifying clip of cops pummeling a woman ... and we're told it all started after a complaint about lack of cheese on a Big Mac. In the vid, you can see 2 officers attempting to detain Latinka Hancock Monday in Butler Township, Ohio. After some arguing, you can see one of the cops punch her in the head multiple times before getting the cuffs on her. Police now say they're looking into the incident caught on camera. Mario Robinson Hancock's attorney Michael Wright of Wright & Schulte tells TMZ ... it all went down after Hancock ordered and paid for a Big Mac at McDonald's with extra cheese -- but she claims the order didn't come with the extra cheese. New York Film Critics Circle Names ‘Tár’ As Best Film; Cate Blanchett & Colin Farrell Take Lead Acting Prize: Winners List
The longest-acting movie awards voting committee got it done in about 3½ hours this year, with the New York Film Critics Circle finally naming Focus Features’ Tár as Best film of 2022. The movie, which reps filmmaker Todd Fields return to the camera in 16 years also saw its star Cate Blanchett win Best Actress. The NYFCC is known for bestowing wins to indie movies and the org can take as long as five hours to deliberate on the day they announce wins. Whatever film the group names as Best Picture doesn’t always translate to an Oscar Best Picture win; the last title to do so was 2011’s The Artist. That’s not to say their winners aren’t in the Oscar mix. Last year , the NYFCC named Ryusuke Hamaguchi’s Drive My Car its Best Film, with the pic going on to win Best International Feature Film at the Oscars . The wild moment happened in the second half of the Loyola Chicago vs. Duquesne men's basketball game at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in Pittsburgh ... when a man dressed in yellow and holding a bag of McDonald's goodies hit the hardwood right as the Dukes were trying to score a basket.
