Seth Meyers has, like the rest of the late-night community, been doing his NBC talkshow from his own house since the end of March. Late Night With Seth Meyers , filmed in the comedian’s attic, has been gaining particular steam thanks to his A Closer Look segments, which dissect the craziness of the news, as well as Amber Ruffin’s takeover of the start of his show following the death of George Floyd and the subsequent protests against police brutality. Taking over from Jimmy Fallon in 2014, Meyers has now made more than 1,000 episodes of his show, which is run by Mike Shoemaker and exec produced by Lorne Michaels. Deadline spoke to Meyers during his two-week hiatus, which he said he was enjoying but admitted that he was “chomping at the bit” to return to structure, even if wasn’t the structure he was used to. Lionsgate and Sony have made a multi-year agreement in which the latter will handle distribution of the former’s physical home entertainment releases in the U.S. and Canada. While many major studios have collapsed their marketing and distribution ops to focus jointly on theatrical and streaming releases, what is simply going on here is that Lionsgate is getting a new home entertainment distribution partner. Lionsgate use to distribute their DVDs, etc through 20th Century Fox. Following Fox’s acquisition by Disney, that deal will lapse in July, and the new one with Sony will commence. Similar to their deal with Fox, Lionsgate will continue to maintain its own independent sales and marketing teams while leveraging Sony’s supply chain and distribution services. A new Jeepers Creepers movie is on the way. Screen Media has acquired the rights to Jeepers Creepers: Reborn , which will serve as the fourth entry in the creature feature franchise. What's more, this is said to be the first entry in a new planned trilogy of movies involving The Creeper. According to a new report, Jeepers Creepers: Reborn will be distributed worldwide by Screen Media. No firm release date has been set but a fall 2021 release is currently anticipated. The movie has already been filmed, with production taking place in December and January. Production took place in Louisiana. A synopsis has also been released, which reads as follows. Marianne Faithfull pays tribute to England’s great romantic poets on her new album, She Walks in Beauty , which she made in collaboration with Bad Seeds and Dirty Three violinist Warren Ellis . They’re previewing the record with her reading of Lord Byron’s “She Walks in Beauty,” which he wrote in June 1814. Birds chirp on the recording before piano and ethereal synths provide a bed for Faithfull’s recitation of the poem, which describes a woman’s unparalleled grace. The video for the song, which was directed by Yann Orhan, features a painting by Colin Self. The album comes out on April 30th. “It’s very romantic, not like you imagine Byron to be,” Faithfull said of the poem in a statement. “It’s so beautiful, and that’s why I like it. I love the other side of Byron, too, but this is really amazing, sublime. And I was very drawn to the ability to do really beautiful rhymes. I think that’s from being a songwriter.
