The actor will collaborate with director Rohit Shetty for the first time in the upcoming film ' Sooryavanshi '. The audience got a glimpse of Akshay's character from the movie in Rohit Shetty's recently released ' Simmba ' starring Ranveer Singh. Akshay will be seen playing the role of an ATS (Anti Terrorist Squad) officer in the film. After releasing some intriguing posters, the makers of Akshay Kumar starrer 'Gold' have finally dropped the official trailer of the upcoming film. The trailer that opens in the pre-independence era, shows how it took 12 years to win a gold for India and the struggle of Akshay’s character along with others to win the medal for the country. The film traces the “golden era” of Indian hockey through the journey of Tapan Das, a young assistant manager in 1936, who dreams of playing for an independent nation.
