After more than 20 years of gunning for young Bart Simpson, the nefarious Sideshow Bob will actually get to kill Bart Simpson this fall in the new season of The Simpsons. Don't worry, Bart won't be dead for long, since this death will happen during the show's traditional Halloween episode Treehouse of Horror 26, which often kills characters and brings them back to life the next week. Showrunner Al Jean revealed the news during the show's panel at the ATX Festival in Austin, Texas over the weekend, revealing that Bob (voiced by Kelsey Grammer), won't know what to do with himself after finally achieving his longtime goal. She’s one of country music’s most buzzed-about young performers, but one listen to Kacey Musgraves vocal contribution on “Guess You Had to Be There,” from Beach Boys founder Brian Wilson’s upcoming album, No Pier Pressure, suggests she could have fit in well during the girl-group heyday of the Sixties. The breezy tune, on which Musgraves sings the verses and Wilson the choruses, sounds tailor-made for summertime radio play, and Wilson’s production, naturally, is beautifully layered, with just a hint of banjo in the mix. Although he’s long had a reputation for demanding something close to perfection from studio musicians and singers, Wilson tells Rolling Stone, “When it’s good it’s good, when it’s not — do it again. Whether or not you played Sega’s hugely popular Sonic the Hedgehog video game back in the day, you probably have memories of that blue, inexplicably fast furball who had an outsized pop cultural presence. My references mostly consist of fleeting glimpses of his classic visage as I sprinted through the Dave & Busters arcade to play Guitar Hero instead.
