Face/Off 2 Script Is Almost Finished, Director Is Determined to Make the Definitive Follow-Up

Stop calling Face/Off 2 a reboot or remake, as director Adam Wingard insists that the sequel is going to be the "definitive follow-up" to the original. This month, it was reported that Wingard would be directing a new Face/Off movie using a screenplay co-written with Simon Barrett for Paramount Pictures. Neal Moritz will produce the movie with David Permut executive producing. When the news first broke, many had taken the announcement to mean that Wingard would reimagine Face/Off as a reboot of the original movie. At the time, Adam Wingard clarified on Instagram that he would never remake Face/Off , stating that he was "writing a direct SEQUEL" with Barrett. Speaking with IGN at Fan Fest 2021, the Godzilla vs. Kong director doubled down on these comments, making it very clear that Face/Off 2 will pick up where the first movie left off. Lady Gaga’s Dogs Returned Safely, Dog Walker to Make Full Recovery, Shooters Still at Large

Lady Gaga's dog saga comes to a happy ending with the safe return of the singer's stolen French Bulldogs. On Wednesday night, two of Gaga's three dogs were taken by thieves who callously shot the dog walker . Fortunately, Gaga's assistant survived and is expected to make a full recovery. Extremely distraught over the missing pets, Gaga had also offered a $500,000 reward for the dogs' safe return with "no questions asked." Friday evening at around 6 p.m., the stolen dogs were returned at the LAPD's Olympic Community Police Station. Physically unharmed (but probably traumatized), the dogs have since been returned to Lady Gaga's representatives. The singer reportedly cried "tears of joy" when she heard that the dogs were back home. Meanwhile, Gaga's assistant is said to be in serious but stable condition. Reportedly, the dogs were returned by a woman who "appears to be a good samaritan" and claims to have simply found the dogs and brought them in. Jesse Plemons Joins Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon

The Irishman star Jesse Plemons is reuniting with legendary director Martin Scorsese for his next picture, Killers of the Flower Moon , with the actor set to take on the lead role. Plemons joins the likes of Academy Award winner Leonardo DiCaprio and Academy Award winner Robert De Niro in big-budget thriller which Scorsese is directing for Apple Studios and Imperative Entertainment. The lead in such a major production is a real win for Jesse Plemons , who for the last few years has proven his talent time and again, bolstering the likes of Breaking Bad , The Irishman , The Post , and the comedy Game Night in scene-stealing supporting roles. Plemons will play the role that was originally due to be taken on by DiCaprio before the celebrated actor requested rewrites and the chance to play a secondary lead. Academy Award winner Charlize Theron has become just as well known for her affinity for kicking ass and not taking any names as she has for her acting prowess, and now the Atomic Blonde star has doubled down on how serious she is about fronting a female-led movie in the Die Hard franchise. The actress has responded favorably to the idea in the past, and now she has once again declared what a great idea it is and how much she wants it to come to fruition. "Yeah, I mean, it's a great idea. That's why I replied on Twitter. Because I just thought that was kind of brilliant. I was like, 'This person needs to start pitching. That's a great idea.' And the fact that it would be two women, I was like, 'Yeah, sign me on.'" After killing it for eight straight episodes on WandaVision every Friday, fans of the series are calling for star Elizabeth Olsen to win a Primetime Emmy Award. From the start of the bizarre Marvel series, fans have seen Olsen as Wanda Maximoff through many twists and turns. Friday's new episode gave the actress the chance to deliver her most emotional performance yet, leaving WandaVision fans very impressed with what they saw. "Elizabeth Olsen's performance in the latest episode was incredible," one fan wrote on Twitter. "You can feel her pain in every scene.
