Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) has announced the 29 projects selected for this year’s Asian Project Market (APM), a core strand of the festival’s industry activities, including new works from Thailand’s Aditya Assarat, China’s Wang Qi, Vietnam’s Le Bao and Myanmar’s Maung Sun, whose producer Ma Aeint is currently in prison in Yangon. Ma Aeint, who previously produced Maung Sun’s award-winning Money Has Four Legs , was recently sentenced to three years in jail with hard labour by Myanmar’s military junta, which took over the country in a brutal coup in early 2021. She was accused of “causing fear, spreading fake news or agitating against government employees”. The online TRP ratings for Week 31 are out. Colors' Naagin 6 witness a big jump and there is a major re-shuffling among the shows. While Anupamaa , Imlie , Woh Toh Hai Albelaa and Bhagya Lakshmi have witnessed drop, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah , Kundali Bhagya and Kumkum Bhagya have seen increase in its rating points. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 have retained their places on the Online TRP chart. Earlier, it was speculated that senior actress Ramya Krishnan is sharing the screen with the superstar once again in the Nelson directorial. In a recent media interaction, Ramya confirmed that she is indeed a part of Jailer , which marks Rajinikanth's 169th outing in cinema. The Nelson project thus marks the reunion of the Padayappa duo, after a long gap of 23 years. The highly-anticipated project, which features Rajinikanth in the titular role started rolling on August 10, Wednesday and Ramya Krishnan has already kickstarted shooting for her portions.
