I wouldn’t be up here without my dad, he’s the reason I’m up here. I can remember loving him so much. And as a kid, I said ‘I’m not sure if I want to be an actor’. BBC Live Football Match Interrupted By Apparent Porn Prank: “I Don’t Know Who’s Making That Noise”
The BBC ’s live coverage of an FA Cup tie between Wolves and Liverpool was plagued by an apparent pornography prank on Tuesday evening in the UK. In a bizarre incident, Gary Lineker was anchoring live build-up to the replay match at the Molineux Stadium when he was interrupted by what sounded like sex noises coming from the studio. The former England player looked perplexed by the noise in the studio, joking to fellow presenter Alan Shearer: “I don’t know who’s making that noise … It’s toasty in this studio, it’s a bit noisy as well. I don’t know if somebody is sending something on someone’s phone, if it’s a joke. I don’t know whether you heard it at home.” After repeated interruptions, he turned to pundit Danny Murphy and smirked: “Will you stop making those noises, Danny.” Murphy replied: “It’s not me.” Lineker later tweeted a picture of a phone, which he said had been taped to the back of the set in an apparent act of sabotage. “Nothing to moan about, I guess,” … [Read more...] about BBC Live Football Match Interrupted By Apparent Porn Prank: “I Don’t Know Who’s Making That Noise”

Robert Pattinson Slams Male Beauty Standard In Hollywood, Says He Once Ate Potatoes For Two Weeks As A Detox
Robert Pattinson was discussing the pressure male actors face in Hollywood to uphold particular beauty standards when he told the ES Magazine that he once ate only boiled potatoes for two weeks as part of a weight loss detox. “I have basically tried every fad you can think of, everything except consistency,” Pattinson said when asked about his own experience with dieting regimes. “I once ate nothing but potatoes for two weeks as a detox. Just boiled potatoes and Himalayan pink salt. Apparently, it’s a cleanse… you definitely lose weight.” Pattinson added that he once tried a keto diet, a popular low-carb, high-fat diet largely comprised of meat, cheese, and vegetables. However, the Batman actor said he didn’t last long on the regime. “I tried to do keto once. I was like, Oh, there’s a diet where you just eat charcuterie boards and cheese all the time? But I didn’t realize that you can’t have beer as it completely defeats the purpose,” he said. ‘Cheers’ Stars Ted Danson, Kelsey Grammer & Rhea Perlman, Director James Burrows Mourn Kirstie Alley
Ted Danson , Kelsey Grammer , and Rhea Perlman are remembering their Cheers co-star Kirstie Alley following her death on Monday from cancer. Also paying tribute to Alley is longtime Cheers director/executive producer James Burrows. “I was on a plane today and did something I rarely do. I watched an old episode of Cheers ,” Danson who played Sam Malone, said in a statement to Deadline. “It was the episode where Tom Berenger proposes to Kirstie, who keeps saying no, even though she desperately wants to say yes. Kirstie was truly brilliant in it. Her ability to play a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown was both moving and hysterically funny. She made me laugh 30 years ago when she shot that scene, and she made me laugh today just as hard. As I got off the plane, I heard that Kirstie had died. I am so sad and so grateful for all the times she made me laugh. I send my love to her children. As they well know, their mother had a heart of gold. I will miss her.” … [Read more...] about ‘Cheers’ Stars Ted Danson, Kelsey Grammer & Rhea Perlman, Director James Burrows Mourn Kirstie Alley

‘Marcel The Shell With Shoes On’ Co-Creator & Star Jenny Slate On Making A Moving Miniature Microcosm: “You Can Be Lost In It”
Jenny Slate is pretty memorable as an entitled dry-cleaning client twirling a chihuahua around her head in Everything Everywhere All at Once , but it’s her role as an animated shell with one googly eye that really captured attention this season. In Marcel the Shell with Shoes On , we’re given a full-length feature version of the character Slate co-created with director Dean Fleischer Camp back in 2010. Voicing Marcel and leaning into her improv skills to help cook up the comedy character’s quirky and poignant dialogue, Slate explains why she thinks Marcel’s miniature perspective has inspired so many, and why this gig suits her so much better than SNL ever did. DEADLINE: Years ago, you came up with the voice of Marcel when you and Dean and some friends were squashed into a hotel room at a wedding. What part of you was speaking through Marcel back then? Because doing voices can sometimes be about expressing a thing you wouldn’t normally say. JENNY SLATE : And … [Read more...] about ‘Marcel The Shell With Shoes On’ Co-Creator & Star Jenny Slate On Making A Moving Miniature Microcosm: “You Can Be Lost In It”
