HARRY Styles will want to look away now. Just a week after I told how his Victoria’s Secret model ex Camille Rowe had moved on with Tarzan hunk Alexander Skarsgard, the first Instagram photos of the hot new couple have emerged – and it looks like they’re having the time of their lives. The pair are seen pulling off Dirty Dancing-style moves as she sings on a mic, then straddles her new fella. They started seeing each other shortly after her split with the ex-One Direction singer this year. And that was awkward for Alexa Chung, who introduced Harry and Camille, because she dated Alex herself for two years until last summer. Camille has also been out with the MGMT frontman Andrew Vanwyngarden and Twilight heart-throb Robert Pattinson, while Alexander has been linked to film actresses Amanda Seyfried and Kate Bosworth. If their relationship lasts, they’ll have no trouble at all nailing the first dance at their wedding. BedeviledRated: R for terror, language and some sexual materialTheater: New Vision Oakdale 20 Impeccably well-made, this feature debut by brothers Abel and Burlee Vang shows that even a predictable horror film can boast diabolical energy, creative confidence, awesome production values and solid structure. Shot with excellent noir-esque cinematography in stately Los Angeles interiors, it sets high expectations right from the opening, and it executes the plan to near-perfection. The classic teen-horror elements are familiar. After the unexpected death of their friend, a half-dozen high school chums — the blonde, class clown, tech nerd, girlfriend, etc. — find that Mr. Bedevil, the new personal assistant app for smartphones, has migrated into theirs from their deceased friend’s. With insults and a wicked cackle, Mr. Bedevil starts giving them commands, exploiting their deepest fears and eliminating them one by one, akin to a surreal HAL 9000. The Vangs, who won the … [Read more...] about Mini reviews of ‘Bedeviled,’ ‘Afterimage,’ ‘Pilgrimage,’ ‘Nut Job 2,’ ‘Step,’ ‘Once Upon a Time’ and ‘Escapes’
By Jacquie Oliverius | Bay Area News Group PUBLISHED: May 15, 2018 at 5:41 am | UPDATED: May 15, 2018 at 5:54 am It was the next-to-last week of the short “Dancing With the Stars: Athletes.” The individual dances by the six remaining couples in this semifinal were dedicated by each athlete to his or her MVP (most valuable person). So, viewers needed to have a box of tissues by their sides for the emotional packages prior to the dances. The show was loaded with guests, including guest judge David Ross, former catcher of the Chicago Cubs and Season 24 contestant. There were also three guest star “mentors” — Meryl Davis of Season 18, Nastia Liukin of Season 20 and Von Miller of Season 24 — to show off their dance moves and offer a few words of advice. Besides individual dances, the six remaining athletes engaged in “Ballroom Battles” to add extra points to their scores.
