Deepika Padukone has resumed the shoot of filmmaker Shakun Batra’s next in Goa, co-starring Ananya Panday, and Siddhant Chaturvedi in the lead roles. According to media reports, Deepika returned to Goa on October 8 and kicked off the shoot. She had reportedly shot a light-hearted scene with Siddhant and Ananya. The actress had returned to Mumbai on September 24 after she was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the Bollywood drug case which surfaced during the probe into actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Last month, a source close to the development had informed Mirror that the delay gave Shakun Batra time to work on the script. Initially, Sri Lanka was chosen as the location but the makers felt that it is not a feasible option and they changed the setting to Goa which has a similar landscape of beaches and vintage churches. There will be another schedule in Mumbai towards the year-end when they will shoot the indoor portions at a city studio.
