Loathed yet grudgingly admired by his enemies, Iran’s Qasem Soleimani left this world with the blood of thousands on his hands — including British troops. A master spy chief and military commander, he bolstered Lebanese terror group Hezbollah and backed Syrian despot Bashar al-Assad in his civil war that left hundreds of thousands of innocents dead. Soleimani — commander of the Quds Force, the special forces unit of the regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps — was the mastermind behind IED attacks on British soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
