Actor Varun Dhawan has finally opened up about the dismal box office performance of his latest release, Kalank, which is also the first flop of his career. The actor has revealed in a video about how his friends took him to Thailand to celebrate his birthday and lift his spirits, a week after the release of the multi-starrer. The film wrapped up in its first week having earned about 74 crore at the domestic box office. Varun can be seen recording the video in a moving car and says, “My 32nd birthday… But I am going to tell you how it all went down. I was a little down because my latest release did not go the way I thought it would and it did hit me a little hard, I will be very honest. I didn’t know how to react to it.
