UPDATED, 1:55 PM: Los Angeles County prosecutors have charged Eric Holder with the murder of L.A. rapper Nipsey Hussle. Holder was charged Thursday with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. He is being held on $7 million bail, and is expected to appear in court Thursday afternoon. Holder faces a possible maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted. PREVIOUS, April 2: Police have arrested their prime suspect in the shooting death of Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle. Officers got a tip from a citizen who reported “seeing a person they believed to be Eric Holder” in the 9900 block of Artesia Boulevard in Bellflower. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded and detained the man. South Bureau Homicide detectives then went to the Lakewood Sheriff’s Station and confirmed that he was their suspect. Holder was transported to an LAPD facility and “will be booked for murder,” police said.
