They also found a soaking wet dog bed, and two plastic containers with food and water — indicating the dog was deliberately dumped at the landfill. The next day, deputies were called to Waterworks Park in Ypsilanti for report of two domestic rabbits abandoned in a pet carrier. The pet carrier is a bright blue/white animal duffel bag. One of the rabbits was emaciated. Both were taken to Huron Valley Humane Society.
