Sky has released the first trailer for series two of original drama Riviera, starring Will Arnett, Juliet Stevenson and Poppy Delevingne among its new cast. The trio will join returning regulars Julia Stiles (Georgina Clios), Lena Olin (Irina Atman), Roxane Duran (Adriana Clios) and Dimitri Leonidas (Christos Clios) in the original production. Set once again in the south of France, the second series will kick off where the first left off as Georgina must deal with her actions on the boat and focus on getting away with Adam’s murder. But her massive task gets that little bit bigger when the Clios family meet the Elthams, an aristocratic English family hiding big secrets of their own. Bend It Like Beckham actress Stevenson will play the matriarch Lady Cassandra, with Delevingne, the older sister of model Cara, taking on the role of her daughter Daphne. Jack Fox will play her brother, Nico. Georgina will also reunite with her uncle Jeff – played by Arnett – as her troubled past comes over from America to haunt her. And it isn’t soon before long that another complication arises, as Georgina becomes entangled with mysterious figure Noah, played by Grégory Fitoussi. The debut series of Riviera was Sky’s most successful original commission to date with a total audience of 2.3million per episode, and over 20million downloads and views. Filming for the second series is underway in Nice and Monaco, ahead of a return to Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in 2019.
