Westlife star Brian McFadden is reportedly set to make a TV comeback on Dancing On Ice next year. McFadden, who was last seen on screens in 2016 on The Jump, is claimed to be swapping his microphone for skates on the winter show, which returned to ITV last year. A source told The Sun: “Brian is about to sign on the dotted line and is really looking forward to being part of the show.” When contacted, a spoke person for ITV said: “Any names are pure speculation and we will be announcing the line up for Dancing on Ice 2019 in due course.” The news comes days after a report that McFadden’s former bandmates, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Shane Filan and Mark Feehily, are set to reunite under the direction of Universal. An insider told The Sun: “It’s signed, sealed and delivered and it’s definitely happening — and it absolutely does not include Brian McFadden. “The other guys have been lined up to return to the studio and record some new songs and tour dates have even been organised, so it’s definitely going ahead this time.” McFadden has two children with Katona, 15-year-old Molly and Lilly Sue. The pair split in 2004, with their divorce finalised in 2006. McFadden later married model Vogue Williams but separated three years later in 2015. Williams recently gave birth to her first child, Theodore, with husband Spencer Matthews. Dancing On Ice will return to ITV in January 2019.
