VENICE Film Festival is back for another year, and with it comes the cream of Hollywood. But what movies are featured in this year’s line-up? Here’s what we know… When is Venice Film Festival? This year’s festival kicked off on August 29, 2018 and it runs until September 8, 2018. The majority of films are shown on Lido at the Palazzo del Cinema di Venezia. But to celebrate the festival there are opened aired screenings of different movies all around Venice. What is the Venice Film Festival line-up? Here are the movies that will be featured at this year’s big event: First Man Directed by Damien Chazelle. Stars Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy. A look at the life of the astronaut, Neil Armstrong, and the legendary space mission that led him to become the first man to walk on the Moon on July 20, 1969. Suspiria Directed by Luca Guadagnino. Stars Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton and Chloë Grace Moretz. A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the artistic director, an ambitious young dancer, and a grieving psychotherapist.
