STAR: Margot Robbie’s nutritionist has revealed the easiest ways to lose weight

Counting calories is what most fitness-goers will follow, but it can be frustrating and time-consuming.
A Columbia University graduate and celebrity nutritionist, Dana James said the key to weight loss is “not just food and exercise”.
Margot Robbie’s nutritionist claims there may be some unexpected reasons why you can’t burn calories.

In her weight loss article for MindBodyGreen, Dana wrote this “intriguing” weight loss tip is “often ignored because emotions can’t be measured”.
Dana referenced a recent study that found 75% of obese patients awaiting a gastric band had experienced some form of childhood trauma.
According to Dana, “if something has upset you, don’t swallow it”.
And those hoping to lose weight will have to make sure they get enough sleep, consume probiotics to resolve gut microbiome imbalances, and avoid inflammatory foods such as gluten and dairy.
Here are the six unexpected things that Dana believes can help you lose weight:
Dana recommends paying particular attention to levels of insulin, oestrogen and cortisol.
Not getting your 8 hours a night can increase levels of hunger.
3. Gut microbiome
In simple terms, the micro-organisms that line our gut can make you extract more calories and cause constipation
The most common causes are gluten and dairy.
Some prescriptions, including antidepressants, can cause weight gain.
6. Unexpressed emotions
Researchers found that traumatic experiences can lead to overeating.
