Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Reveals Why She Pushed Kody Away amid Catfishing Scandal

The Sister Wives ‘ star opens up about the cat fishing scandal that turned her household upside down

Sister Wives ' Meri Brown and her husband Kody are trying to move forward after a catfishing scandal that turned their household upside down.

In an exclusive sneak peek at Sunday's episode, Meri confronts Kody about the current status of their relationship during a long overdue heart-to-heart.

"Is that what you're waiting for me to do," she asks him. "Come crawling back on my knees? What are you waiting for? What do you want?"

"I think I know what I want but we'll have to discuss this with Nancy," responds Kody, 48.

In 2015, it was revealed that Meri had entered into an online relationship with a person she thought was another man — but who actually turned out to be a woman.

In effort to save their relationship and their family dynamic, Kody and Meri entered therapy.

"This catfish was just planting things in my head an telling me how horrible my family was and specifically how horrible Kody was," Meri recalls. "That was one of the reasons why I didn't want him around. I was just angry. I'm just angry at him."

Later adding, "I just pushed Kody away. I did. He's not the one I should've pushed away."

All while trying to piece her family back together, Meri admits that she never imagined her life this way.

"Kody, I just feel like I've spent a lot of years not knowing where we were," she says. "You know both of us have been avoiding any sort of anything with our relationship. I feel like i'm just doing my life by myself. That's not what o signed up for."
