He glides it in a curve to the northeast, again tracing an arc traversing the border between the two nations. “Here, Janjaweed also, but mostly rebels.” Colonel Trika Rameslay is balding, barefoot, prim in his pressed desert camouflage tunic and pencil mustache. A small, slender man with skin the color of cocoa butter, he chain-smokes cigarettes of black, pungent Turkish tobacco.
